Rajdhani Tourist Driving Union has been an approved by (R.S.) NCT Delhi, successfully training learner drivers and also providing member ship cards to drivers. We are providing accidental insurance to driver about 4-5 lakhs.We all decide to learn to drive for different reasons and at very different ages. But we all need good quality, reliable tuition to become safe drivers and we rely on our driving instructor for that. Rajdhani Tourist Driving Union also trains people to become driving instructors. Today there are few local instructors with so much experience in driver training. Successful pupils recommend many people to their driving instructor and many have joined Rajdhani Tourist Driving Union in this way. Rajdhani Tourist Driving Union can offer high quality, thorough training and vast experience as a driving instructor and driving instructor trainer. Each of our instructors is certified by the Ministry of Transportation, and is re-evaluated each year to ensure the highest in teaching qualifications. Both our male and female instructors are renowned for their patience and excellent instructional techniques. Our course content is always updated in order to reflect the constant changes in today’s driving environment. Rajdhani Tourist Driving Union has been recognized for their elite customer satisfaction.
RTDU has been operating as a social organization since 1994 and was officially registered in the year 2006. It has one thousand two hundred cars in India and its offices are situated in 7 states. The head office is based at Delhi with other 11 offices spread across India like 1 office in Punjab, 1 in Chandigarh, 1 in Himachal Pradesh, 3 in Rajasthan, 1 in Madhya Pradesh and 4 in Uttar Pradesh. In Delhi alone, in the year 2010, 3600 members/tourist chauffeurs joined this organization. The strength goes on to 10000 members pan India.
If there is an unfortunate demise of any member, the family members will be paid compensation as per policies and the widow of that particular member will be provided with a suitable job and pension. The children will also be assisted in their education. In brief, RTDU ensures that the best possible support is given to every member during and after his life. It also provides accidental insurance of 4 lacs as per National Government policy.
All chauffeurs and drivers associated with RTDU are always in full uniform with proper identification documents. RTDU also makes sure that all members get their salaries in proper bank accounts and get facilities like Provident Fund as per government policies.
RTDU has in the past brought to light many minor and major road issues to the government. In the year 1994, it brought to the government’s notice that a bridge needed to be constructed at Road No 44 in Madhya Pradesh. We are proud to mention that this bridge was commenced and opened to public in the year 2000. There are many other instances where RTDU has suggested the construction of bridges, flyovers, T-points, etc. for the betterment of traffic and saving of petrol and diesel.
RTDU has taken many such initiatives such as a request that it had sent last year for civic facilities like roads, water and electricity in a 40 year old village named Patrani Khatta which is under process.
In the year 1998, RTDU proposed the reconstruction of a bridge near Simbhawali Sugar Mill on NH-24. This proposal was accepted and work was carried out by the government in 1999.
Another landmark in the history of RTDU was in the year 2007 when its suggestion for the construction of an underpass below the railway line and flyover of Mathura Road, was accepted by the government and cleared by DUAC.
